A number of Berwickshire Group RDA Vaulters took part in a competition at Oatridge on Saturday 5th. April were they all did very well.

Harry McCann had a very early start helping a Reivers Vaulting Group Pre Novice team achieve a good 3rd. place.
Jamie Bromley took a big step up to the Novice Class performing both compulsories and freestyle in canter and he came a very good 2nd.

Then Harry took part in the RDA Individual Pre Novice Class and emerged the worthy winner.
Next were the Walk Classes with Christopher Lyons and Jaymis Coston again stepping up into non RDA Classes, Christopher did a very good Freestyle but unfortunately not in the prizes this time but Jaymis impressed the judges to be 5th.

In the RDA Walk Class Ishbel Wedd finished in first place and Quinton Lee 3rd in his first competition.

Everyone took part in the RDA Team Walk Class and came away with 1st prize, comiserations to Ryan Girdwood who dislocated his knee and could not take part.

Thank you to the Group volunteers and Rebecca Hewit, Anna Marie MacPherson and Stacey MacPherson for all their hard work and help before and at the competition and to horses Bart Simpson. Royal Dalton and Charlie Brown who all helped make a happy day for the Group.
