It is with great sadness I let you know we have said good by to Caffrys.

His general health has given concern for some time and after Tuesday he deteriorated fast and would not have stood another winter.

He had helped Berwickshire Group for 15 years and in that time always gave of his best, he was unflappable, accepting and willing and started off so many riders and vaulters.

He and I had a good relationship which lasted longer than a lot of marriages and I will miss him.
