Very sadly Royal Dalton left us on Tuesday 7th. June, he had been seriously ill over the weekend and was eventually admitted to the Royal Dick Veterinary Hospital on Tuesday morning.

The prognosis was not good and sadly,  this left us with no option but to do the deed.
 
Dalton had only been with us 3 years but it felt like forever, he fitted in and took to the work with no fuss whether it was walking with small RDA vaulters or helping vaulters and riders to improve or working with the Advanced Vaulting Team at International level.

He was always the same, never sick or sorry and always doing his best.
He leaves a huge hole in so many hearts and his big shoes will be difficult to fill.

He was voted Berwickshire Group's favourite horse for 2016 and it breaks my heart we will not be able to present him with his Trophy.

RIP to a gentle giant.
