As announced earlier in the year, our Group Chairman, Margaret Morgan was awarded an M.B.E in recognition of her many years of service to Riding for  the Disabled, at local, regional and national levels.

Margaret travelled to London, accompanied by family,  to receive her award on October 27th.   It was very fitting that the presentation was made by HRH the Princess Royal, Princess Anne who is also Patron of the Riding for the Disabled Association.  Margaret's daughter, Rebecca, said that Princess Anne recognised her mother from previous RDA events, perhaps at last year's Supra conference at Oatridge, which was 'really lovely'
